Dr. Ronald Perez, MD is a board-certified Family Physician through the American Board of Family Medicine and the founder of My Family Doc in Carlsbad, California. He provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, men’s and women’s health, and personalized, patient-centered care.

Dr. Perez earned both his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. He completed his Family Medicine residency at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital in West Virginia in 2012 before practicing in Phoenix, AZ and later with Stanford Health Care in San Jose, CA. In 2019, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of opening My Family Doc, creating a practice dedicated to delivering high-quality medical care in North County San Diego.

In addition to Family Medicine, Dr. Perez offers a variety of services, including USCIS Immigration Medical Examinations, Biote® Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), medically supervised weight management, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, regenerative joint injections, minor surgical procedures, and medical aesthetic treatments such as injectable neurotoxins and dermal fillers, radiofrequency microneedling, fractional CO₂ laser resurfacing/ vaginal rejuvenation and laser treatments for pigmented and vascular skin conditions.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family. My hobbies include playing basketball, golf, pickleball, e-gaming, doing DIY projects, traveling and following the stock market.
