Dr. Hurd is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing in North County since 1998. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California and her Doctorate in Medicine from Tufts University. Prior to opening her own private practice in 2010, Dr. Hurd delivered care in a variety of settings including nursing homes, a public clinic, and a private small group family practice. She has worked as a hospitalist and has worked as a hospice physician. She enjoys taking care of patients of all ages and appreciates how much continuity of care is essential for good health. When not seeing patients, Dr. Hurd enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
