Dr. Hanna joins the practice after a very successful career in the U.S. Navy reaching the rank of Captain. While serving in the military, she completed a fellowship in Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at the University of Missouri and went on to run the Bariatric program at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego for the 6 years prior to her retirement.

Dr. Hanna specializes in weight reduction surgery, endocrine surgery, gastrointestinal and solid organ surgery as well as the treatment of reflux disease and abdominal hernias. She is committed to the holistic, empathic and compassionate care of her patients.
