Dr. Belen Clark is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and practicing in Oceanside California where she opened Optimas Family Medicine in 2010. Dr. Clark received her Doctorate in Medicine from the University of the Philippines and completed her residency at State University of New York at Buffalo where she served as Chief Resident. She has worked in various areas of medicine as far back as 1996 ranging from a primary care to ER/urgent care to general and cosmetic dermatology. Throughout her experience she discovered her passion for pediatrics women’s health and preventive and bariatric medicine. Dr. Clark is fluent in English and Tagalog and knows basic Spanish. She is affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
