Dr. Melissa Hurd is a Board Certified Family Practice Physicians practicing in California since 1998. She started her own private practice in Vista California in 2010. Dr. Hurd attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles receiving her Bachelor of Science in 1988. She received her medical degree from Tuffs University School of Medicine in 1995 and completed her three-year residency at the Ventura County Medical Center. Dr. Hurd is a member of the American Board of Family Physicians and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. Dr. Hurd cares for newborns adolescents adults and seniors in the inpatient and outpatient settings. She is married with one child and her interests include reading music and spending time with family and friends.
